Balderson seeks milder ban on exotic pets in Ohio

BLACKLICK -- State Sen. Troy Balderson will be introducing legislation Tuesday that is a milder form of a ban on exotic animals than the one a state task force recommended. He hopes his legislation will help save places such as the American Primate Education Sanctuary, or APES, a nonprofit preserve in Blacklick, which he toured Saturday.
